Paul was adopted as a kid and felt like he didn’t know who he was, he found it hard to get over that. As a result, he struggled with his mental health and addiction for 35 years. He became street homeless in 2015 but now he lives in a house with First People. Paul has been running the allotment that First People acquired - from clearing to digging, getting it ready to start growing food. He thinks it will be a great community space where anyone can come if they need to get something out, or they’re feeling lonely, or if they need some food. It’s already helped Paul with his mental health.
